Seems like 2018 may be starting off well. We’re both working on our “stuff” with some success. Franca is studying French with a teacher and I’m studying Italian on my own with the Pimsleur CDs. I’m in two shows and have some submissions out. Franca just closed out the Hudgen’s show during which that museum bought one of her pieces for their permanent collection. She was also accepted for the LaGrange Regional show, 2 pieces.
Chip is starting South Street, a continuing seminar in street photography. He has about a dozen people interested. Be nice to have at least ten. We have a major gallery in town which is going to give us an exhibit of the 6 months of work. Cool.
This last weekend we spent two days at the Butterfly House in LaGrange with Wes and Missy Cochran. Such a wonderful place with great people. I made a couple I like. (If you look at these make sure you click on the “gallery” page and go through to the larger images. I don’t know why exactly but the images are not too sharp until you click through.)
One more from Troup county, Georgia… and one from the car window downtown Atlanta.
Then there’s another one. This one I hadn’t looked at much until last week. Kinda funny. From the “Gori Collection” in Montale, Italy which is a 600 acre sculpture park that rivals Storm King in New York.
