Three years ago I joined a group of photographers who are interested in photographing from an urban
point of view, not settling for the southern cliche. The group was started by Chip Simone, a long time friend,
wonderful photographer, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and a student of one of my
most admired photographers, Harry Callahan. The group has had great success, we’ve had a group show
at Mason Fine Art, here in Atlanta, for the last two years and at present we have a presence in the
Atlanta Celebrates Photography annual conglomerate of work.
